Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between FCL and LCL?
FCL (Full Container Load) means you rent an entire container. LCL (Less-than-Container Load) means your cargo shares space with other shipments, and you only pay for the volume you use. FCL is faster and more secure; LCL is more economical for smaller loads.
How long does shipping take?
Transit times vary by destination. For example, USA to Colombia is 7-10 days, USA to Europe is 18-25 days. Add 3-5 days for inland transport and 2-5 days for customs clearance.
Do you handle customs clearance?
We can coordinate customs clearance at destination through our partner brokers, or provide all necessary documents for your own customs broker. Customs fees are separate from freight charges.
What documents do I need?
Typically: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, and Export Declaration. For specific commodities, additional certificates may be required. We provide a complete checklist upon booking.
Is cargo insurance included?
Basic carrier liability is included (limited coverage). We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive marine cargo insurance, which we can arrange at competitive rates.
Can I track my container?
Yes! All shipments include real-time GPS tracking via our online portal. You’ll receive automated notifications when your container departs, arrives at transshipment ports, and reaches final destination.
